Job Posting: Studio Coordinator

Corporate Entity:

House of Fiori Inc. is a family-owned floral company based out of Alberta. Our floral workshop/studio located in Red Deer is looking for a studio coordinator to join our growing team.

Position Title:

Studio Coordinator

 

Start Date:

As soon as possible

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Learning and using our online store and system, Shopify and Shopify POS (Point of Sale)
• Taking customer orders (walk-ins, phone, email, website, etc)
• Process payments online and in-person
• Fulfilling supplies orders
• Delivering arrangements to customers
• Ordering office and floral supplies
• Maintaining cleanliness in the showroom and workshop (sweeping, dusting, mopping, washing, etc)
• Assisting the floral designers and other team members
• Learn and create basic floral arrangements
• Assemble and package arrangements and products (writing on comment cards, wrapping, etc)
• Attending and working event booths (Wedding tradeshows, etc)
• Set up flower arrangements and installations for events/weddings
• Set up and take down of rentals (floral wall, floral arch)
• Receiving, processing, arranging and delivering flowers/products/plants
• Other tasks as assigned, including making urgent deliveries, arranging couriers, bank deposits, etc

 

Requirements:

• Great organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills
• Intermediate Computer/technology skills and ability to learn new software is required (ie. iPad, laptop, G Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe)
• Ability to work weekends and busy seasons (Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, etc)
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Previous customer service experience is an asset

 

Job Type:

Part-Time(20-30 Hours per Week)

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and some Saturdays

9am-3pm

 

Compensation:

• $17-20 per hour

• House of Fiori is primarily an ecommerce company so we’re not your traditional flower shop. Our workshop/studio is where we fulfill our orders.
