Corporate Entity: 

House of Fiori Inc. is a family-owned floral company based out of Alberta. We are excited to be expanding to Vancouver and launching a supplies division through our affiliate company Fleur Fiore Supply. Our new workshop and warehouse will be located in South Vancouver. We are looking for a Workshop/Warehouse Assistant to join our growing team.

Position Title:

Part Time Workshop/Warehouse Assistant


Start Date: 

November 2020 


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the initial setup of the warehouse
  • Answering incoming company phone calls and emails
  • Answering customer inquiries through social media or live chat
  • Drafting customer orders (primarily online and telephone) 
  • Processing payments with various methods (cash, credit, debit)
  • Scheduling client appointments
  • Scheduling and coordinating deliveries and pickups
  • Assist with event set up when needed 
  • Ordering office and floral supplies
  • Assist with processing incoming flowers and products 
  • Assist with inventory
  • General housekeeping 
  • Delivering arrangements within the Lower Mainland if needed
  • Other tasks as assigned such as bank deposits, supply pick up, etc


Requirements:

  • Ability to work weekends
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends for events/weddings 
  • Fluent in spoken and written English, other languages an asset but not required
  • Valid BC Drivers Licence preferred but not required
  • Intermediate computer/technology skills and ability to learn new software (ie. Apple Devices, laptop, Microsoft Office)
  • Physically strong, can work standing for up to 8 hours and lift items up to 30lbs
  • Previous customer-service experience an asset

Job Type:

Part Time (18-24 hours per week) with the opportunity for Full Time growth


Compensation:

  • $15-17.00 per hour
